This diecast model McLaren Ford MP4-8 (Ayrton Senna 1993 Brazilian GP Winner) is White and Red and features working wheels.
Senna was not only at the top as an Formula 1 driver, but also in interviews it was quickly realized that he had an overview over F1 like no one other. His exact and precise driving style makes him standout from all other drivers. As a result he did the step dance on the gas pedal while being about to enter a curve, that is he tried to find out when it was the right time to give full throttle again, in order to get the maximum speed out of the curve.
Already during his McLaren days in 1993 Ayrton Senna was admired by the Italian Tifosi, although he never drove for Ferrari. They were waiting in front of his hotel in order to celebrate him. In Japan he was an absolute star, since he won three championships on the McLaren Honda. In his home country Brazil he was an idol and ultra popular, especially since he actively involved himself in supporting poor people without education.
When Senna won the Brazilian Grand Prix in 1993 the fans were so overwhelmed that they ran on from the stands onto the circuit in order to celebrate their superstar who once again was able to win his home Grand Prix. © www.ayrtonsenna.de
