The McLaren Mercedes MP4/98T was exclusively used for demonstration purposes. The Formula 1 double seater among others escorted F.I.A. president Max Mosley, Tour de France winner Jan Ullrich, star violinist Vanessa Mae and even king Juan Carlos of Spain (driven by Niki Lauda). This model features Mika Hakkinen as the driver and his wife, Erja, as the passenger. Their drive took place on the snow in Lapland on 17th April 2000.
