This diecast model Mercedes-Benz W196 (1954/55) is Silver and features working steering, suspension, wheels and also opening bonnet with engine.
This outstanding model of the famous Mercedes racing car from the mid-fifties is aimed squarely at the most demanding of collectors. The car was driven by Fangio when he became world champion in 1954/55, and it also claimed many top three finish positions at the hands of Kling, Herrmann and Moss.
Hand-assembled from around 150 individual parts, this model features:
- detailed chassis and dashboard - cloth-covered seat - double exhausts and rear starter - ultra fine, photo-etched wire wheels and radiator grill - metal-framed windshield - fully detailed engine and engine compartment - high quality, hand-polished paintwork
